Vocational and technical skills training

Vocational and technical skills training

HDHS’s Vocational and Technical Skills Training Program aims to equip disadvantaged youth and adults with practical, market-oriented skills that can lead to employment, self-employment, and sustainable livelihoods. The program focuses on accessible training that responds to local economic opportunities and the needs of participants.

Training may include areas such as computer and digital skills, tailoring and garment work, electrical and electronic services, plumbing, welding, automotive repair, handicrafts, and other income-generating trades. Where appropriate, participants may also receive basic guidance on entrepreneurship, financial management, and job readiness.

By combining practical skills with livelihood support and community engagement, HDHS seeks to increase employability, promote self-reliance, reduce long-term dependency, and create sustainable income opportunities for individuals and their families.
