Emergency Assistance Project

Emergency Assistance Project

HDHS’s Emergency Assistance Project provides timely humanitarian support to individuals and families affected by sudden crises, disasters, displacement, loss of livelihood, or other emergency situations. The project is designed to respond quickly to urgent needs and help vulnerable households cope with immediate difficulties while maintaining their dignity and safety.

Through community-based assessments and coordination with local volunteers and leaders, HDHS identifies people facing critical needs and provides appropriate assistance based on available resources. Support may include emergency food packages, essential household items, clothing, hygiene supplies, temporary financial assistance, educational support, and other urgent relief.

The project prioritizes vulnerable families, children, elderly people, persons with disabilities, displaced households, and those experiencing sudden hardship. Where appropriate, HDHS also connects affected individuals with other available services and longer-term support programs.
