Message From The Chairman

Since our founding in 2009, Hope for Development and Humanitarian Service (HDHS) has stood beside the people of Bangladesh in moments of both quiet need and urgent crisis. What began as the initiative of a small group of committed young people has grown into an organization touching the lives of thousands of families across the country.

Our work is guided by a simple conviction: that every human being deserves education, health, shelter, and dignity, regardless of their circumstances. From rebuilding homes after floods to sponsoring an orphan’s schooling, from digging a tube-well in a water-scarce village to constructing a mosque for a community with none, every HDHS program is rooted in service to humanity.

None of this would be possible without the trust of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the resilience of the communities we serve. On behalf of HDHS, I invite you to join us — as a donor, partner, or volunteer — in building a more hopeful Bangladesh.

Dr.Ismail Amjad
Chairman, HDHS
