Building a Masjid or Madrasa is an opportunity to create a lasting place for worship, Islamic learning, and community development. Our Construction of Masjids & Madrasas initiative aims to provide safe, accessible, and well-equipped spaces where Muslims can offer Salah, learn the Qur’an and Islamic teachings, and come together as a community.

Many communities, particularly in rural and underserved areas, lack adequate facilities for prayer and Islamic education. Through this initiative, we support the construction, renovation, and development of Masjids and Madrasas according to the needs of the local community.

What We Support

  • Construction of new Masjids in communities where there is a genuine need for a place of worship.
  • Construction and development of Madrasas to provide children and adults with access to Qur’anic and Islamic education.
  • Renovation and expansion of existing Masjids and Madrasas that require additional space or structural improvements.
  • Essential facilities, such as ablution areas, washrooms, classrooms, prayer spaces, and other necessary infrastructure.
  • Community-focused facilities that can serve as places for religious education, gatherings, and community activities.

Why Your Support Matters

A Masjid is more than a place of prayer—it can become the heart of a community. A Madrasa provides children with an environment where they can learn the Qur’an, develop Islamic values, and gain knowledge that can benefit them throughout their lives.

Your contribution toward the construction of a Masjid or Madrasa can help create a Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) opportunity, allowing the benefit of your support to continue as people worship, learn, and benefit from the facility.

Whether you contribute toward a complete project or support a specific part of the construction, every contribution can help bring these essential facilities to communities in need.

FAQ

1. How can I contribute to the construction of a Masjid or Madrasa?

You can support a project through a full or partial donation. Contributions may help cover construction materials, labor, classrooms, prayer areas, ablution facilities, or other essential requirements, depending on the project’s needs.

2. Can I donate on behalf of someone else?

Yes. You may choose to make a contribution on behalf of a family member, friend, or someone who has passed away, according to your intention and the applicable donation guidelines.

3. How do you decide where to construct a Masjid or Madrasa?

Projects are generally selected based on the needs of the local community, availability of suitable facilities, accessibility, and the feasibility of construction. Priority can be given to communities where there is a significant need for a dedicated space for prayer and Islamic education.
